In 2019, we joined a Reformed church and stayed there for about three years. I dreamed many dreams concerning this church and their elders. And the Lord gave me three tasks to do. They required me to spend a lot of time studying, reading, writing, and praying. While I was in the church, I did my first teachings on the Bible. The first one was on prayer. I knew nothing about prayer, but the Lord gave me strength and wisdom. The longest chapter of the Calvin’s institute was on prayer. I hope to talk about prayer on this blog in future. It is one of the things the Lord cares the most in a public and private worship.
And while I was in the church the Lord answered my question that I asked in 2017 – Aren’t the Reformed doing well? I thought, ‘Surely not all have failed. The Reformed hold their doctrines. They have ministers, teachers, and leaders to shepherd the flock.’ The answer was no.
I do not know where to start. But my conclusion is that the Reformed church put much more values in their traditions, their interpretation of the Law and the church order than the Scriptures.
I found some very nice people there and I did meet the lady in a yellow dress.
When my time was up, I saw in a dream the farmer that I saw in a dream back in 2016 packing and leaving his house. As he left, he wrote something on the outside wall. He said, “I named this house, ‘the end’”. Then I realized I went to seven different churches in my life (except the ones that I only visited). In my 20s, I once asked, “What is my life’s purpose?” In a dream, I was walking and saw a building burning. And I was full of hope and energy and was walking on a path to somewhere. Earlier this year, I was working as a nurse in a building in a dream, and it was very dirty. A cleaner said, “The whole 7 stories are the same.” I said to someone, “I would rather die than coming here as a patient.”
In this adulterous generation, the elect people often cry to the Lord because of abominations happening in their churches. In Revelation, the saints’ prayers are the incense. And the result of the incense going up is disasters on earth (Rev 8:4-5). Therefore, the prophecy spoken by Peter is fulfilled (1 Pet 4:17).
While in the church, I saw the influence of the Covenant theology and Puritanism. Although the Law was emphasized much on the outside, justice was not there. The system gave much power to those in the office, which promote idolizing the church and its denomination.
From 2018 I studied about the backgrounds of the Reformation happening in England in the 17th century. I found out that there was one Reformed denomination (there are two now) that did not hold the Covenant theology. The Protestant Reformed Church of America (PRCA) does not hold the Covenant of Works (CoW) but still holds the Active Obedience of Christ (AOC). The AOC is more troublesome than the CoW. However, they think very highly of John Owen’s teachings so Thomism is lying underneath their teachings. In future, I will write more about why the Lord reject the teachings of Thomas Aquinas. Recently the Reformed Protestant Churches (RPC) came out of PRCA. Looking at their history, it is a pattern. It started from The Reformed Church of America, then Christian Reformed Church in North America, then PRCA and now RPC. The new church is always better than the old one but then later walks the same path. As long as they hold the AOC, they will always go back to Thomism and salvation by works. The recent trend of strong Thomism in the Reformed seminaries is not surprising because the Reformers in the 17th century England like John Owen adopted Thomism.
In 2019, I had a dream which showed my body as the church. I found myself wounded. On the outside, they did not look too bad. I had one wound on my abdomen and one on my left leg. But then I found that I could open them like a door. The wounds were more severe than I initially thought.
When I opened the wound on the abdomen, I saw my stomach detached from the oesophagus. Thus, no medication could be absorbed. In desperation, I took a hose to wash the stomach wound with water. But it only brought the dirty water to come up from the intestine. I threw away the hose. I went a building that looked like a university. Two people were there. One man and one woman. They looked like they were working as administrators. I said, “Help me!” The man saw my wounds and went back to the office. I heard him talking to the woman. He said, “The leg must be cut off if it does not heal by itself.” I grieved. Then I saw myself in a classroom. It looked like I was in an elementary school. While I was worrying about the wounds, a woman in white clothes came in. She looked like our teacher. She said, “I am looking for someone who wears clothes made out of a particular material.” And she said I was wearing it. I saw myself wearing a precious blue coat. I was comforted.
A few months later, I had another dream. In the dream, I saw two trees. They were growing inside a dome. One was a chestnut tree and had big holes where my wounds were. There was a big hole in the center and also a big branch on the left was missing. But it had many fruit. There were already three on the ground fully ripe. I thought, “If the tree is shaken by the wind, many fruit will be dropped.” Back-to-back there was another tree. It looked perfectly clean and there was no single blemish or scar. But it did not have any fruit but many leaves. And I looked up and saw that the end of tree has reached the ceiling of the dome.
These dreams may be from my imaginations. And I do not know all the meanings. But one thing is clear – what God has prepared is ready.
Near the end of year 2019, I saw a white horse. It was in my garden. And it sat/knelt on the grass. Beside the horse, the young male lion that I saw in 2017 also knelt. I thought they were resting but ready. When I woke up, I only recalled the white horse that our Lord was riding in Rev 19:11. I thought, “Is Christ coming soon?” When the coronavirus hit the world, I recalled this dream because only then I realized the white horse is the first seal in Rev 6. And the voice in the other dream was fulfilled. “A storm is coming (to the world).”
When the coronavirus was announced as pandemic, I recalled another dream that I had in year 2018. I was shown three mountains in autumn. But soon the winter came. And looking at them, I cried, “Those good days will never come back!” As the coronavirus swept through, I had another dream. The three mountains were in snow blizzard. Someone at work asked me, “How long would it take us to travel to other countries as before?” Recalling the three mountains in blizzard, I said, “Maybe from the fourth year, it would be ok.” This is the third year and slowly the travel restrictions are eased although this is only the first seal. Already the second and the third seals are broken. The fourth seal is yet to come.
Some interpret the first seal as anti-Christ but it is a wrong interpretation. The four horsemen in the Book of Zechariah are God’s servants. They are not evil spirits.
